Ramp Streamers on Pulpit Ramps

Post by bowen.tim »

I made some semi-permanent wind streamers for the ramps at the Pulpit. I had some fiberglass driveway marker at home, so I cut them in half (about 2 foot). I drilled a hole in the front corner of each ramp and they fit snugly in the holes. I also attached a lanyard in case the get popped out. I layed them down in between the deck boards to hide them when not in use, hence, semi-permanent once somebody rips them off. I made one for each ramp, but if we fly there next week, I will make an additional 2 streamer rods so each ramp has 2. So, as long as no one takes them, no more tree branches will have to die in the pursuit of free flight.
