Maybe we can make a deal for a chase car???
I don't have a physical address for launch.

The G20 in the sfc forecast at the Sac is now supposed to last until sunset. Grrr, I was kinda hoping for a backoff late day, and some fun on a floaty/falcon. Anyone seeing any signs of a lighter day than what I'm seeing?

Supposed to be N@10 for much of the day on Monday, which I do have off. Don't have much experience up there on lighter days like that.... Possibly worth a try?

Absolutely. Get there early before the wind throttles back in the mid afternoon. Charley and I are planning on a very early launch and an early landing tomorrow. Bacil

My ETA is 8-8:30. Car is loaded. I plan on leaving about 6AM. I have both waivers in hand. I haven't been to the SAC since the early 80's.

Urff, a departure by 6:00am? Not sure I want it quite that bad.

If the forecasts change and there are hints of a throttle-back later in the day, I might give it a try. At the moment, I see G20+ sfc pretty much all day... If anyone can point me to an alternative forecast, I'm all-eyes :)

If I don't head up there, I hope that everyone who goes has a great flight!

Marc, the puppy has me up at 4:30 - 5 everyday, and off to work during the week at 5:30. I am just an early riser!!

Going to try for Monday. Lots of wind at altitude, and I'm no early riser! Hope to hear some good reports. Have fun.

Bailing on today. Throttleup is fcst at 10A+. I could get there by 8A, ready to fly by 9A, but would have to land in that stuff 10A+. Be safe Tim if you fly. Bacil

Looking at winds aloft, they are really blowing. If the SAC was like Makapuu, I wouldn't hesitate, but I am bailing too. Back to bed with the puppies.

Looks like Woodstock will be too strong for Sunday and possibly too north and strong on Monday. I may head to Blue Sky for Tue and Wed.

You are missing an excellent day at Sacramento tomorrow. NNW winds @ 11 MPH. STFI conditions on launch. THE place to be tomorrow. Bacil
