Woodstock, Monday 10/10

Looks like Matthew’s slower trek up the eastern seaboard could bring excellent soaring conditions on Monday.

I definitely need a couple solid training hill days before heading back out to Woodstock again, but I am curious about what the WS LZ options are for a H2 like me on a F4 195...

After looking at the latest predictions, I'm (once again) realizing that most, if not all, of my predictions 48 hrs out are wishful - especially when Matthew's travel plans are in question. Sunday may be good at the Sac or possibly blownout and, rightnow, WS on Monday looks like a PG day and Monday may also develop into a decent HG day at the Pulpit.

Stay tuned for more BS!

Looks like Woodstock will be too strong Sunday and possibly too strong and North on Monday. Tuesday and Wednesday look good for Blue Sky.

Monday looks ok with surface forecast but 3000ft winds are north by 2pm. Only calling for 7-10mph.Not sure if it is going to work but I may take a look at noon.

Once again I advise you to forego convenience and go to the site that works the absolute BEST for the forecast tomorrow: Sacramento. I have been flying there for 23 years and any time the forecast has been due north to NNW the place to be has been Sacramento hands down. Bacil
