Taylor Hill Sun Oct 02?

Post by markc »

Looking like light SW at Taylor Hill on Sunday, could be a good practice day if the forecast holds....

At least for the hangies, the mtn options seem pretty limited. So why not knock off a bunch of launches and landings? It'll do ya good! *Especially* if you haven't had a lot of flights this year (c'est moi!).

Oh yeah.... Capital Ale House in Fredericksburg is on the way back, as a reward for your efforts! :-D

I could use a training hill day too but I have a conflict. Maybe the next good training hill day.

If John M. goes, I'm going. Anthony will likely go too. At this point though, it looks like it's going to be blowing down...

Previously it looked possible but the latest update (as of this late afternoon) looks out of the question. There is only one forecast that indicated it might go SW at 5:00 pm but generally they are saying NW.

I haven't tossed in the towel quite yet, will decide tomorrow. Still think there's a chance of L&V with some SW by late afternoon... But we'll see, I've certainly been wrong before :D

Well, I still think that there's a chance of SW, but it'll be pretty late, and pretty light as well. Pulling the plug!
