Timber Rattle Snake at the Pulpit

Please be aware that we encountered a 6 foot Timber Rattler on the center path up to launch. I almost stepped on it, but fortunately it signaled its presence. While I was changing my pants, Bacil shooed it away to the scrub the left side of the setup area. We surmised since we were there early and it was cool, it was sunning itself on the rocks to warm itself up.
