Taylor's Sun05June
Bit of a gamble, but John's call turned out to be spot-on, and there was flying to be had at Taylor today, both PG and HG. RichE was the PG contingent, think he'd already had 8 flights when the rest of us showed up. The day was all over the map, dark grey clouds, few drops, sunny breaks, and full-on sun. Winds light, nice, gusty and strong, thermally, everything was in the mix. John had three students, one a first timer, and everyone did well given the mixed-bag we were dealing with. I did six flights, Rich did 12-13 maybe, he's an animal! Grabbing a brew now and trying to time my return between heavy showers....

It's was 13!
I had planned to take both wings but my HG vehicle wouldn't start so had to grab the missus's car and just the PG wing. Good fun kiting and proximity flying the hill trying to soar. Some funky air at times just to make the LZ interesting.
Mark was John's ace student demonstrating faultless launch and landing style for the 'youngsters' - great job!
Cheers

I love to hear the stories about trips to Taylor Hill. It's fun to hear about the H4s getting a workout and the students progressing to the ability to foot launch from the big hill.
Who here can say they went to Taylor hill, had several flights and didn't have a great time even though it was a training hill?
