Pulpit Secondary LZ Status

Post by mingram »

The Pulpit Secondary LZ is now completely planted in crops. The typical lower landing spot has knee high barley. The upper fields we were hoping to use are now planted in corn that's just starting to come up. I landed there and talked with the Mike Hill and his wife whose family has lived there for almost 60 years. They're super nice people and gave me a beer so I'm going to bring them a case the next time I go.

The Hill's gave us permission to land in the grass field before the lower field. I've marked it in green. Note that there is a power lines that cuts off the south east end of the field. Peter will update the Google site guide with these details.
