Hang Gliding Spectacular at Nags Head

Post by XCanytime »

Forwarding a message from Bruce Weaver, the manager of the hang gliding school at Kitty Hawk Kites:

Bacil,

Bruce with Kitty Hawk Kites here. Its been a long time. I hope all is well. I wanted to ask for some help in getting the word out about the Spectacular, May 13-16. http://www.hangglidingspectacular.com/ In addition to all the usual fun, we are having Wills Wing Demo Days in conjunction with the event this year. Steve Pearson will be here with gliders to fly, both on the dune and at our new tow site.

We are going to offer a 20% discount on the entry fee for members of the Capital Club. What's the best way to let the club members know?

Sounds like a great incentive for some of our club members to travel to the Outer Banks for some fun :) . Bacil

Did stay a few day's at OBX this weekend and visited the hangglider school at Nags Head. Talked to Andy at the HG park and more... He knows Sunny and Adam, back when Sunny worked there...

They do a great job at Nags Head and have customers/students up flying HG in now time.

Would love to go back and fly at the dunes for fun, during the Spectacular days in May and WW Demo days. Fun people and fun place. Though, going to Quest Open and can't make it this time.

If you have not been there or seen it how they give customers a tast of HG, here is a little video of how they do it. Enjoy at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pUpY3yDGysA
