For sale

Post by dhenders »

For those of you that have not heard I crashed my Eagle Sunday at Bill's. Stupid beginners mistake. No wind...nose too high on launch..didn't run it out. Stalled and met the hill. Iam alright. However, I do not fly enough, I do not have the same desire I use to and feel lucky that I screwed up on a forgiving launch site. With that in mind I am selling my stuff.

164 Eagle. It has a broken keel. Does not appear to be any further damage and can be repaired for a few hundred bucks

High Energy Tracer Harness for 5'10" pilot

High Energy Quantum parachute

4010 Flytec vario/altimeter

Yaesu 2mm radio

Gear alone is worth over $1,000

Asking $2,000 for everything. obo

Hi Doug,

Good to hear that you're alright.

I have some interest in the radio. You can e-mail me: prefix is my last name dettling, followed by the @ sign and then jhu.edu.

Cheers,

Marcel

Eagle

Nope, traded it for a falcon. I haven't been flying because my Jeep died and I do not have a glider vehicle right now.

Don't want to cut in on Marcel, but I also could be interested in the radio. Will you be at the Pulpit Fly-in. Actually, I feel a bit strange vulturing in on your decision to sell all your gear and get out of the sport. Please feel free to change your mind (haven't you been through a couple of cycles like this?). Glad you are OK - Hugh
