Got to the SAC at 9A. Pretty strong at launch. Called Joe and Karen to let them know I'd be set up in half an hour. As I was setting up the atmosphere took a deep breath and the wind died down nicely. Had a nice launch at 9:45A with Joe and Karen's assistance. Thanks you guys! Some spectators from Valley View who had never seen hang gliding pulled up as I carried the glider to the launch. Figure 8ed in ample lift in front of the slot and got up easily. Had a nice relaxing flight, getting to 1K' over halfway to the Klingerstown Gap. Lots of turbulence coming in to land at 10:30A. Joe had graciously driven my truck down to the LZ, and Karen made sure I was OK after landing. After packing up I stopped in at Joe and Karen's house before heading back to Rockville, MD to work in the afternoon. Had a on my face the whole drive back. Bacil
