Social this evening at Lost and Found in DC

Matt has organized a social at Lost and Found in DC to bring new members into the club and to also give current members a chance to socialize and talk about flying. The event has been posted on the club's Facebook and Meetup pages. Here is the link

These will likely be done monthly. They may be tacked onto a flying day as we get into the flying season.

Also, I am going to kite my glider at the polo fields at Lake Fairfax park 4ish today before heading down to the social if anyone wants to join.

Great job by Matt organizing the event. See the Facebook page tomorrow for pictures. 30 or so folks showed up with a number of H2s and P2s that are looking to get connected to the club. This is a fun outreach event. Try to participate in Marchnif you can.

Like Jim said, we had a great turn out. I posted pictures and details on the facebook group. I'm targeting the next one for Friday March 25.
