Hi guys,
I'm a H3, hoping to get back into flying this winter. Family, work, and other hobbies caught up with me. I think it has been 5 years now since I flew. Far too long. My last flight was off a mountain in Sylmar CA. I learned foot launch at Lookout, but most of my airtime has been at Highland. Sunny Valenski was my instructor awarding the H3. I fly a WW Super Sport.
I'll need help learning the sites, etc. Thank you in advance! Hope to meet some of you soon. Maybe this Sunday?

Hi Bryan, and welcome back to the air!

It does look like there might be some flying at High Rock on Sunday, but the site can be a bit more technical than Lookout. If your last foot-launch was years ago, maybe it makes sense to get out to one of the training hills for a few brush-up flights? Depending on how many hours/flights you've had as a H3, maybe you could do a few flights at Smithsburg, and then head over to HRock later in the day?

Be aware that the owner of the LZ requires you to sign a waiver, in-person.

The Sunday/HighRock thread that I just started will probably be a good place to ask questions and find out what everyone's planning.

Cheers,

MarkC
