Watch out for those Hang Glider explosions and fires......

Post by rlweber »

With the event of a new diagnostic coding system for the medical community hang glider accidents (including accidents involving hang glider explosions and fires) get their own code.......What about paraglider explosions and fires, how are they going to be coded? At best the paraglider community gets "unspecified glider accident". It shows the bias against the paraglider community.

Gotten from the Oz report. http://ozreport.com/

I have built in fire suppression for the harness. I wet myself. But when I hate it when my wing blows up... not much you can do. I'm pushing to have more wing explosions during SIV so we can be more prepared.
