I'm seeing some E10G20 forecasts for Bill's Hill tomorrow, cloudy but with minimal threat of rain. That's a pretty damn-rare soarable 'cast, at least for the hangies...
The downside is that the site hasn't been maintained to the level that HG'ers need, so some fairly significant work would be needed.
I'd love to soar Bill's, it's been multiple years. With a motivated group, we could get things done fairly early.
Is anyone in? Or do you all have plans for super-moon/blood-moon eclipse parties?

You are the astronomer Mark but it seems to me like the best spot to see a rising blue supermoon would be on top of an east facing hill with an unobstructed view out front after a great day of flying. With all the trees and city lights around here I'm not sure there is such a place. Any ideas?
By the way the PG pilots have been kicking butt at Bill's Hill and Edith's Gap. Who needs a primary when everybody is going XC? Then again you all could sit on your butts and watch a bunch of guys you don't know play football instead of going flying with guys you do know.
