Another GREAT day at Highland! Geoff Mumford and I were the only solo pilots and we had a Blast!! Jim towed us up (in between many tandoms) at ~2:30. The thermals were muscle ripping intense (small intense, vario maxing cores, that were flanked by air that was rocketing down). Here are two screen shots from the keel video (I’ll post others tomorrow). Flew for ~1.25 hrs with several climbs over the Choptank to just over 3.9K msl before bailing to insure that I could reach Highland. I hope the conditions hold for those who fly on Friday.
