Good day today. Everyone had fun and nobody got hurt (despite some people trying). Flew 2.5 hours and about 60k across to high rock then down to myersville north of Frederick. Weather was kinda funky, with a lot of overdevelopment and another layer of some low stratus above that. Winds were light west at launch and didn't get much above 15-20 all the way up to cloudbase at 6k'. Thanks to Steve K for ride!

Wow!

Great Flight. Congrats!

Did you fly over High Rock launch?

Did any HGs fly at either the Pulpit or High Rock?

I was the only HG at Pulpit. By the time I got there, the valley out front had OD'd. Everywhere else looked great, so if you got high you could go far. I didn't, so I didn't.

Still, it was a pleasant 1/2 hour flight. I think I broke 400' over once. I mainly boated around at 2-300 over.

I used my loppers to clean up around the campfire a bit. The smaller picnic table is pretty much trashed. Probably more from decay than from vandalism.
