ESE @ 6. Little light for Bill's, but doable ... or will people be headed to Ridgely? I'll be up and ready to go somewhere on Saturday A.M. Anyone leaning one way or the other yet?

Saturday flying

Post by dhenders »

last weekend the winds were light at bills but the whole area was going up. the paraglider group saw the birds going up and the took off and specked out. i am still kicking myself for not getting off at about 1PM. light winds does not necessarily equate to not getting off and up.

I just had my chute packed a month ago and getting currency prior to the Fly-In is my priority. If everyone is going to Manquin instead of mountain flying on Saturday, odds are I will head out to Ridgely for AT.

I've got to be at a soccer game mid-day, but I may fly Bills before or after the game , if conditions permit. It's only an hour from my place.
