The Pulpit is looking 10-13mph West but it is only Thursday.

Now the Pulpit looks 14 gusting to 22 but still west.
Have to consult a local w/ more experience.

The Pulpit almost always blows stronger on launch than forecast. Unless the forecast drops a lot it's probably going to be too strong there.
Woodstock, on the other hand, could be real good if it's not too west cross. Unfortunately even it will likely be too strong for us PGers. This is one of those weekends I wish I hadn't sold my HG.

Tomorrow is out for me. I need to attend services for the death of my uncle. It was in this uncle's back field that I flew my first homemade hang glider ( made from UP plans gotten from a friend's father). To my amazement the aluminum and plastic actually flew. That was back in 1975. Time keeps flowing on.

Sorry about your uncle rlweb.
I had a favorite uncle.
Still sadly lost after many years.

Any word on how things turned out at Woodstock yesterday? Saw some strongish readings toward the end of the day, but seemed like the trend was good, and it was sure nice in the Bethesda/Rockville area. Hopefully some flying was to be had!
