***ALERT *** Dear CHGPA Members --

CHGPA has been Awarded a Grant from the Free Flight Foundation (FFF)

The FFF monetary award was given to underwrite CHGPA's proposed Flying Site Creation and Preservation Projects located in the Shenandoah National Park, the Thomas Jefferson and George Washington National Forests, and other regional sites. This is a major boost to our efforts to improve the safety and quality of our flying sites in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

This $19,000 gift will help us accomplish our various improvement efforts this year.

Thank you to all those who make contributions to the Free Flight Foundation ( http://www.ushgf.org ) which allowed us to apply for available funds in a competitive grant application process to ultimately receive this award.

Awesome news Patrick! Thanks for everything you do for our sport and our club. I know that the hours you've put into writing grants and negotiating with government entities way outweighs your flying hours this year.
