Hyner fly-in this weekend!

There's gonna be a Hyner fly in this weekend with campfires, river swimming, cookouts, musical performances, and maybe even some hang gliding. I always have a good time and it's a nice weekend trip if you've never been...about a 4 hour drive from the DC area. There are camper hookups and showers five minutes away from the landing field, but I always prefer to camp in my tent and bathe in the river. Non-Hyner members can camp and fly the whole weekend for $25.00, so it's also quite the deal.

Marney and I will be arriving on Friday. Hopeful for some flying especially Saturday.

Looking like nice flying weather. Come and relax - Hyner's the best place for it. Every fire will have stories and drinks.

Looking ahead to the 4th of July, it will be a celebration of Hyner's 40th anniversary. The saturday night party will be catered with BBQ and beer, with the smoke so thick from fireworks it will probably hold you up.
