Since I was not able to get anyone to go to the Pulpit today (Mon), what about this Wed?
The forecast looks reasonable (not as good as today - Monday): For far, the forecast shows NW below 10 MPH.

Definitely considering it if the forecast holds.

Mostly because of lack of interest we won't be going today.

Saw something at sunset today that triggered a really big smile about the days to come. With today’s 60 plus temps the snow was melting faster than “instamatically”, and I’m fairly certain that it had a lot to do with what I saw and tried to photograph. Just before sunset, I noticed a cloud street that had their thermal cores highlighted by the sun’s setting rays – most likely reflecting off the condensing moisture within them. Once I realize what was going on, I ran for my camera only to photograph one of them during the last moments before darkness. It appeared that each cloud in the street had a single dominate vortex feeding it.

BTW, that speck in the thermal core could have been Walt and/or John. Wish I could have joined you guys!
