Pilots, I just read the following email from the USFS dated last Friday, Feb 27. The volunteer agreements were essential to getting the USFS to permit us to reopen Edith's Gap and improve the launch site at Woodstock.
The CHGPA officers and members built a terrific rapport with the USFS. I'm posting this here because I haven't seen any evidence that anyone else has seen this notification and I think it's very important that we maintain the excellent relations with the USFS that we have today.
Please don't overlook the fact that there is an annual trail meeting scheduled for this coming Saturday March 7.
The email to me contains attachments that are the documents necessary to renew the volunteer agreements. Mark Cavinaugh, if you consider it useful to post them on here please send me an email and I'll forward them to you.

Hello!
You are receiving this email because you have a current volunteer agreement with the Forest Service, Lee Ranger District.
As of 12/31/2015 all existing volunteer agreements will expire. I have attached the new forms for you to review. If you would like to renew your agreement, please sign and return either by email or mail the OF301a form. Also, please note on the agreement the trails you have adopted/typically maintain.
You can also bring the completed forms to our annual trail meeting on March 7, 2015. We will be meeting at the Lee Ranger District office at 1 pm.
