Seeking PG instructor

Post by RickM »

Greetings all and Merry Christmas from Japan - this is a follow-up post from my introduction...
I expect to return to the U.S. next summer and I'm seeking guidance to obtain a U.S. rating for PG. I have the equivalent of a P1 in Japan from the Japan Hangliding Federation (JHF) for paragliding. I cannot earn a higher rating due to my limited Japanese abilities but have obtained some good flying experiance out here...
I welcome any recomendations for an instructor willing to work with me; I expect to reside in the D.C. area and I have all my own equipment (Nova Ion 3 for my wing). I may be traveling to D.C. in early January and perhaps will have the opportunity to meet; if there are any functions happening during that time frame I'd be happy to attend.
Cheers
Rick

Hi Rick, thank you for your note and we look forward flying with you. In the DC area there will be two instructors next year that can help you out certainly during the summer. Shoot me an email at pvanoevelen@gmail.com and I can fill you in with more details about the various options. Cheers Peter
