Re: Daniels Tomorrow 04 Nov - Today's results
Four HG pilots including 3 from Kitty Hawk and one of our own, along with three PG pilots and one tandem passenger arrived at Daniel's under fully overcast skies. The Kitty Hawk guys were already on launch and in the queue when I arrived. When I arrived the tandem pilot and his student were already on the ground and the student was one happy guy!
All the HG pilots had excellent launches in challenging light conditions. The winds got progressively lighter as the afternoon progressed and by the time it was my turn (last) they were too light for me to feel comfortable launching so I passed.
Everyone else flew and basically sledded.

Great seeing everyone and fun if only just a couple sledders.

Re: Daniels Tomorrow 04 Nov
I took my Falcon, so I didn't sweat the low-wind launch or the short flight. Dan drove my vehicle down after seeing the futility of trying to stay up. I guess we all left our sky glue at home.
On the upside, I found someone in the LZ who was very interested in the hang gliders. However, it might've only been the taste he was interested in.
