So..... It's probably a bit early to be planning for Saturday.... But I see some NNW @ 10+ in the forecast, and the LZ at High Rock has been hay'd.... Maybe an HR day is in the cards?

OK, it's now more like 8-10.... But with a high of 76 degrees, in July, I'm thinking it could be pretty darn good. Anyone else thinking about a mtn day?

Mark,
Will take a look at it on Saturday am but am interested in HR. Friday am at the glider-port, has a lot of north in it.

Still thinking that HRock might be worth a look.... And hoping that we hear from at least four who want to give it a try?
Otherwise.... Maybe Highland? Looking a bit strong-ish there though....

I will probably be heading to Highland since there will be no observers at HR.

Looks like a decent HR day. My ETA is 12:30/1:00 ish.

at high rock. nobody here. pretty dead except for the occasional wisp of wind coming through. severe clear. the Massanutten Ridge looks active with a line of cumulus clouds running down the spine. spotty cu out on the Tuscarora also. a lonely cu all by itself over Smithsburg. going to hangout for little while and see what materializes.
