Woodstock tomorrow or Fri

Post by garys »

Looks like a nice strongish NW flow for tomorrow and Fri. I will throw the glider on the truck and head for Woodstock in the afternoon if anyone else wants to go.
Too busy at work to take the whole day but can get away by 2:00 or so.

The NWS is still predicting strong conditions for single surfaces at Woodstock this Friday:
NORTHWEST WINDS
10 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH.
However, nostepper weather forecast is a little bit better: around 15mph by LZ and Launch by 3:00pm, Gusts up to 25MPH. In addition, it is expected to have 25MPH at 3200ft.
Gust winds are expected to be reduced by end of the day.

I will check again tomorrow morning. If the conditions improve, I would like to go...

any observer is thinking about going there tomorrow (Friday)?
