Was kind of an up and down day. I got off a little before 2. Managed to get up as high as 940 over but quickly went back down the clawed my way back three or four times befor loosing it and sinking out. Got 1:20 for the day. Pg managed several flights.

Five of us flew Dickey's yesterday. Most of us flew more than once. The haze and inversion made staying up a bit tricky. When I landed well out into the valley after my first flight the winds were sliding along the ground parallel to the ridge.

Also, the NPS has informed us that they want to see written proof that we still have permission to land there. They are holding up a handful of permits until the required written confirmation is obtained. If you have applied for a permit and haven't received it this is probably the reason. A couple of the PG pilots are working on getting that update in place.

Flew Dickey's today. Launched a little before 1. Thought the cirrus west looked like there was more developing that was obscured in the haze but it turned out not to be the case. Conditions got much better after two all the way to 6pm as the sun came through. I was only able to scratch my way to 400 over for a short 23 min flight. Landed in Lz.launch conditions were light 2-5mph but mostly straight in.
