Sunday was a stellar day at Woodstock. Winds were reasonable with max of 9 but with a west cross. There were some longer cycles so I launched a little after 1pm. There were a few PG folks there by then. I managed to get up ok. Not strong but there were some nice thermals. I managed 3800 over a couple of times. Landed past the corn by the bridge field. I saw a couple PGs go over the back and several others in the air when I landed a around 3:20. There was one PG in the trees at launch when I got back for my car. He got down safely with help for three other folks.

Great day.

By the time I arrived at Woodstock Joe Schad was specked out and showing us PGers how it's done. We all sat around for a while waiting for the sometimes strong conditions to calm down some. Once it did we were airborne in really nice autumn thermic conditions. Petr and Lazlo went OTB and landed on both sides of Dickey's ridge. I managed to almost reach hwy 11 just north of Tom's Brook. Flying yesterday sure beat watching football on TV.
