I put down in Bethesda Delaware as I have yet to enter the Dover airspace into my new 6030, and I had not coordinated a retrieve to boot.
Thank You to Ward for picking me up.
All other pilots stayed local, fighting the winds aloft that I followed with abandon.

As Ashley indicated, Saturday afternoon “served up” good but challenging thermal conditions with small intense cores and defined lift lines/streets flanked by equally intense down air. Greg Sessa was first off and quickly convinced us that conditions were good by climbing to cloud base shortly after releasing from Jim’s tow. Here are some photos of my tow, one climb and my landing sequence. Ward
