Big Spring Nationals

Post by Rich E »

Hi all,

Just sending out a feeler at this point. My in-laws live in Big Spring and may be able to accommodate a couple of pilots. I would also plan to go and share driving, retrieving duties and anything else to help out (not sure about taking my mighty Falcon and being the weather check guy though...!)

Would those that are going be interested? As a low air time Hang 2 I promise to ask less than 10 questions a day ;)

Cheers

Wow, I would totally take you up on this if I could. I've originally planned on going this year but alas, work and other travels wont allow it.
Next year??
Felix.

Rich

Having relatives in Big Spring is pretty special. Thanks for making the offer but I have already made arrangements for this year. This may be my 10th August in Big Spring - I have lost count actually. The flying there is not really hang 2 air but you never know about next year.

There is still time to register if anyone with xc experience wants to come out. You need to register before long so that they arrange for the optimum number of tugs.

The way the weather is looking, August may be the next time I get to fly!

I will be there, as will Peter Kane from Richmond. I am keeping my fingers crossed for EPIC conditions!
