Whoa! Very nice day at Highland today. First flight was WAY memorable, hoping that the video will do it justice! Maybe 30 minutes or so.... Then a second flight for about an hour, at about 3pm or so. Very light lift, but enough to stay up!
Strangely, no other solo pilots??? That's pretty weird! Absolutely beautiful out there today, sunny and a decent breeze. Enjoying the tiki bar at KentMoor prior to heading home, perfect ending!
Oh, I hope that video does justice to the first flight. Thank you Jim, you are the man!

I wanted to be there, but since I drive down from Western MD, I usually come only when I can string 2-3 flying days together. Friday and Sunday no flying, so no trip for me. I don't see a video link on your post.

Mark,
I did go to Highland early on Sat morning and had 2 flights, incl my first ever solo aerotow. Sunny let me fly the new Falcon 4.
It was a great experience, fun and as most of you guys know, Sunny, Adam and Jim are really nice people, know what they are doing and gave me very good quality aerotowing instructions.
I was hoping to get more towing in, but things did not look so good weatherwise at Highland around 8:30A -10:00A. In fact, they stopped towing because some low rain clouds moved in. But, I now see that I did a big mistake to not wait it out. I did leave Highland around 10:00A.
Nevertheless, I will be back soon with my Sport 2, to set it up for towing and install aerotow release and more.

For a change, my camera setup didn't fail me on a flight that I had high hopes for. I will try to post a politically correct portion from it soon, but need to put in some effort to make it worthwhile.
Knut, I heard about your solo, many congrats on your flight!
Things improved after you left, however cloud base remained quite low for a while.
