Aren't there other people out there that do that already? Mine have
all had names.
Alas, poor Lilah has spent most of the Summer sitting in my garage...

Don't know of any other men who have named their gliders... but we have a boat and it's named the Riff Raff.

I name my children, dogs, rabbits, guiniea pigs, hamsters, and budgerigars.
If I had a cat, I'd name it.
If I had a boat or a country estate, I'd name them.
If I had fish, I would not name them.
I don't name my cars, trucks, computers, or gliders.
My wife does have a few choice names for me. I am not privy to most of them.

I don't name my boat or gliders either. I'd feel funny calling them by a name.
It seems kinda silly when folks that do name their boats etc. usually give them girlymon names and refer to them as a SHE. Do they have sexes? I think not. To each their own, some folks are even confused by their own sexuality.
I sometimes call my new (1966) Chevy Truck 'Ole Booger' but that's not its name either, I just call it that because it's Green.
I didn't name my wife, but I do call her my Sweetheart.

My first glider I called 'The Pulse'.
My second glider, I referred to as 'The Fusion'.
I'm currently calling my present glider 'The Talon'.
Not sure what name my next machine with have; might be 'the wheelchair' the way things are going.Joe G.

I use that for naming all of my wives too! I do vary it a little, "wife",
"wifey", etc.
