Going to give Highland a try on Monday I'm visiting the in-laws in Rock Hall this weekend , so it's a short drive...

The forecast looks quite promising for Monday. That is the only day I can get out this weekend, so that might be the spot.

Was hoping for two days at Highland, but I think it's going to be blown out again on Sunday. See you Monday.

I managed to get my first 3 aero-tow solos done Monday afternoon. I should hopefully have my AT rating done soon as long as the weather holds. Good to see Bob Buchanon and Felix there when I got there.

Finally got to fly the Discus yesterday - what a great wing!
I stayed up for about 45 min. At 10 AM - came down for lunch and hopes of a great long flight later on... an unexpected layer of cloud cover came over and killed the awesome looking day. Still everyone flew and a few pilots hung out a good while up there.
Perhaps it was better for me like this, I got to do many pattern tows and get to know the new wing better - next time I get to fly it is at the comp. next week.

Good to see everyone out there and meet some new people. Late in the day, a few of us got to fly in (slight) lift with a bald eagle and a red-tailed hawk!
