In the next few days, a bunch of you will be getting Pulpit stickers arriving in your mailboxes. Proudly display yours on your helmet. The ugly fluorescent yellow label should cover up last years' atrocious hot pink sticker quite nicely.
As most of you know, the Pulpit is jointly owned by CHGPA and MHGA. All flying members of both clubs are eligible (subject to ratings restrictions) to fly the Pulpit. Part of your membership dues ($15) goes to the Pulpit to pay for property taxes and any other ad hoc costs of maintaining the site. The Pulpit also pays for annual gifts to most of the landowners in the MD/VA/PA flying region.
Thank you for supporting free flying in our area.

Thanks Dave, the sticker arrived today. It clashes with my flying attire but I’ll display it with PRIDE! Ward

Re: Pulpit Stickers
Greetings David (or anyone),
Two questions: 1- Can the Pulpit Waiver be sent in online, and if so .. .to whom? 2- After the waiver is received and since I am a CHGPA flying member ... am I 'good to go' to fly the Pulpit? (it is a 3 hour drive from where I am but if Saturday doesn't work well for WS then I may consider the Pulpit on Sunday). Jim G.

Re: Pulpit Stickers
If your USHPA membership is current you don't need to send the Pulpit waiver.
When you go try to coordinate with someone who's flown it before to get you familiar with LZ protocols.

Re: Pulpit Stickers
Thank you for the quick response Carlos. My USHPA membership is current and I plan to visit the LZ(s) before heading to launch as well as connect with pilots about protocols. Jim G.
