Heading to Smithsburg this afternoon to work on some ground handling low on the hill, and if the wind permits, maybe get some flights from higher up as well. I am planning on arriving around 1pm. Hope to see some more bodies out there.
Was going to gamble on Woodstock but there is plenty of stuff for me to work on at Smithsburg.

Got to Smithsburg around 1pm. Set up streamers. A bit of a North cross. Picked a cycle, hit a lot of trash, and flared too much on landing just as my right wing popped. No injuries but I broke my first downtube ever. 
Jon took a couple flights from low on the hill, way over to the west end of the ridge. Seemed to be a little better over there. He was going to do a few more when I left.

Got six short flights in from low on the far end of the hill. Punchy and north cross the whole day. Got some good ground handling and foot launch reps with the new CG 1000 harness.....mission accomplished. Pretty day out there and not too cold.
