Saturday (12Feb05) Flying Plans

Post by Spark »

Due to family commitments on Saturday evening, I'll probably be unable to
make it to Woodstock.

Thus, I'm thinking of spending the early part of the day at Smithsburg, then
heading to High Rock, depending on conditions and availability of other
pilots/crew. If anyone has similar interests, please respond or call.

Regards,

I'm leaning toward Woodstock tomorrow based on
the current winds aloft forecasts... And then maybe
High Rock early on Sunday. A back-to-back on the
weekend would sure be nice!

But who knows what tomorrow's conditions will be...
Will be up and looking at things early, that's for sure!

Yeah, Woodstock looks better and it may not back off enough to be safe for
High Rock. Since I can't go to Woodstock on Saturday, I'll probably fly HG
and Zagis at Smithsburg and see what happens. You never know until it
happens.

On Sunday, I could be at High Rock by 11am

WS, HR... Maybe Pulpit?

Post by Matthew »

THe NWS text forecast has dropped the winds back to West 10-15 tomorrow becoming 5 by 7:00pm. The bay forecast is now West at 10 becoming West at 5 for Saturday and Intellicast now shows West at 15 at 1:00pm and 5 at 7:00. Hmmmm.

Might even be a Pulpit day...

Hang glide chat line in the morning after checking updates and current conditions.
