e-exchange with Pete Humes this AM, re: Smithsburg. Anyone have additional wisdom? --John

Pete--
Thanks for the word. I was thinking of bunnying with my "new" Pulse 10m and probably HG would be too much a flaunt if a sign is still up. But I think I have your mob, if you are actually going today, might try calling you later to see what's up sur place. (Wasn't yesterday a SW?) Catch you on the slopes sometime, I hope.

As of last night when one of my student's stopped by, it is still closed! Ugh. Richard said last week he would try to get a hold of Eddie to find out what is happening.

back from pittsburgh and holidays. Tried calling eddie just now. No answer. BTW: I hope you guys were't kiting in the LZ in the crop...if there was a crop still in there. Kiting vs. flying vs. groundhandling all the same. If the site says CLOSED....it means closed. what part of that don't you understand? Means....stay off property until permission is granted. Moves like that.....regardless of intent get sites closed down. seriously UNCOOL. Hopefully I've missed something here and misread the posting......

I agree with Richard! If the sign says closed it means closed, stay off the property. If we were to lose use of this site, it would be very very bad. It is the nicest training site in our area. Please do not trespass on the property. We only have use of it by the generosity of the farmer/land owner.
