I have them on my vehicles. High quality, the best there is. One set is two years old now and no degradation at all.

My pads are archery target foam with a homemade cloth sleeve.
The first set wore out after about 3? years due to UV.
The second set is 10? years old and going strong (The cloth is looking a little UV'd).
