We will be in Charles Town, WV on Sat. afternoon playing polo. If the rain holds off, we are thinking of continuing onto Bill's. ETA 4pm.

Looking pretty light for us hangies, and no sun to boot. But I'm giving it some thought, simply because I haven't flown there even once this year. Might be a good day to get some site maintenance done too...

Mark, have you ever flown Hogback? It's a NNE site with a hike to launch, but no more than Dickeys.

As I understand it, technically Hogback is not a legal site because we don't have an LZ as required by the Park Service Permit.

Ah, that's right. Looks too cross anyways - that launch is unforgiving.

How about Calvert Cliffs - Gary's Beach?

I've been there once, DNF because it was too light. At the time the lz options were pretty sketchy.... Have they improved at all for HG?

Still thinking about Bill's... Got some storm prep chores done, and waiting for the morning update to the nws forecast. Not planning on Gary's Beach, could be a bit strong..... What are you planning Matt?

I ruled out Bills as too South. Rock climbing, tennis, trampoline gym, or maybe PPG.
