woodstock launch Maintenance today?

Post by Dan T »

If I can reach Gary we are going to try to break up the big rock on the right and maybe the other three big ones as well depending on how long it takes. We could use some help. If any of you have big pry bars that's what we will need the most.

We are on for Monday. We will be there at 1:00. Anyone with a sledge hammer, pry bar, rock wedges and/or a strong strong back is welcome and sorely needed. Our objective is to break up a few of the large rocks that have posed a hazard to pilots in the past.

Come on out, the accident you prevent may be your own.

PS,

It looks to be too strong for PG tomorrow. Once the work is done I plan to stay and help any HG pilot who has helped and who wants to fly afterwards. That includes retrieves if you land out.

Dan et.al, thanks for the effort to improve the WS takeoff! I can’t get away from work until Tuesday so if I can do anything the day after you and your crew solve the major issues on Monday, please let me know.

humps were busted, rocks were busted.
rocks resisted, men persisted.
the rocks weren’t bested…but they lost a few rounds.
