Status of Hellam Hill

Was up there just recently-and it is flyable. The LZ is completely mowed and
a non issue. The slope however; needs mowing but the cover is "thin" ( vs.
thick or sparse ) meaning...you can walk thru it and you can easily carve a
spot out to launch with a hand weed-wacker. So....I know that all sounds
weird but it it is flyable right now. Hopefully the hillside will be mowed
soon as well but if you want a place to fly in a N or NNW it is do-able
right now.
