Taylor Today?

Post by Dan T »

I'm considering going to Taylor today to practice launching my new PG wing. Is anyone planning on going? John, Craig?

I'd like to get some time at a training hill to practice ground handling. However, I wouldn't be able to leave DC until noon. Not sure if this would work with your plans, but let me know if you're headed there.

So that's where you are Larry! Good luck in the contest. I'm glad they are holding it, I wasn't sure they were.

Anyway Keshob, the afternoon looks best for Taylor. I'll check back in here around 11:00 and decide then.

Sounds good... I'm at an event from 10-12, but will check in afterwards.

Even though the forecast was mostly for West with a tad of WSW it turned out pretty nice most of the time. There was West at times but a lot of SW. My second time student got 11 flights and did pretty well. Dan and Bishop did some kiting and I did a lot of mowing. After packing up the hg, a rain storm came by and got us wet but later cleared and I did more mowing.
