I am thinking of braving the traffic and heading to Ridgley tomorrow.

Nice day albeit tough to get going. Tried for a 44 mile triangle but winds were a little stronger than forecast. I made it about half way around. Charlie made the second turn point. Max alt was 4250.
3:10 airtime.

Fun day at Highland--

Bombed out on my first flight after releasing at 1600 and thinking I was in a boomer--- wrong.

Second flight-- flew an hour and a half an got to 4K. Shared thermals with Joe Gregor and Valerie and one of the black and green gliders. Moderate drift aloft. Karen flew twice for twenty and thirty minutes.

John Simon, Bob, Proctor and others flew.

We picked up Valerie's sun visor and left it in the office at Highland.

Thanks, Matt, for getting my sun visor into the office. I discovered it 'missing' the next day and suspected I'd left it there. Will get it next time I'm out there.

Great day - I got a nice 50 minute flight as my 3d and final after two sleds. All good! And great to see everyone - glad to get some nice advice about padding the downtubes from Heather.
