High Rock Tuesday

Daniel, Steve K., Bruce E., Carlos W. , Hugh Mc., and finally Allen
Sparks flew the rock today in light, hot conditions. Shawn showed up
to help us launch (thanks! - and good luck with the surgery!). Dan
had an early extendo, I believe, then Steve K. launched his Sport 2
and soared but not for long. Bruce and Carlos had similar
experiences, I believe. I was joined by Dan on his second flight.
After scratching over the rock pile for 10-15 minutes, we started
finding thermals which we took to 1200 over and 40 minute flights.
Sparky flew his tandem glider solo, but without finding much lift.
