I'm interested. It's a perfect opportunity to enable the USFS to see the launch site and see us launch. I first extended this invitation to them nearly a year ago. After touching base with Gary S, I called Cameron at the USFS and informed him that Friday afternoon might be a perfect opportunity for them to see us launch on a weekday.

We also spoke at some length about the desired improvements at both the Edith's Gap and Woodstock sites. I'll address them in a separate forum update.

I won't be bringing the chainsaw this time.

Everybody, thanks for your interest. I'll check with the USFS in the morning to determine if they are still able to come. Once I have done that I will post their answer here.

I don't plan to fly tomorrow. My objective is simply to show them how we do this and to assist other HG pilots on launch. It appears likely that it will be too strong to fly PG tomorrow. If the USFS declares that they cannot attend I will most likely stay home and save the gas money for another flying day.
