Heads up for all the pilots hitting the mountains via I-270. There is a speed trap (camera) around the workzone at Exit 26 on I-270...It is by Rt. 80 to Buckeystown. There is a camera in the workzone there that will take your picture as you zoom by it and then send you a bill in the mail. At $40 a pop it starts to add up. They nabbed me twice.

sorry to hear that, where I come from Belgium its full of speed traps with no chase only a fine in the mailbox, police will only chase you if you are driving really too fast and are a danger like +180km/h
the results is that GPS came out with a DB with all those speed traps, they warn you by voice if you approach one. In France those DB on your GPS are forbidden I believe.
The other result is that speeding is getting dangerous expensive also in Belgium and you never now when it can happen as many of the traps or mobile.
I put my cruise control on the max speed and try to avoid tickets, speeding at the end only saves you minutes by might cost you a lot.
dry safely
