Falcon 3, Sport2, U2 new assembly configuration
Just received the Sport2 on Thursday. Pored over the owner's manual Thursday night and noticed right up front is an addendum for the manual applying to the Falcon 3, Sport2, and U2 models. A new bolt, nut, and nut cap assembly configuration has been introduced for the XBAR/LE junction of the 3 models, and for the separate XBAR/side wire junction for Sport2s and U2s. Just thought I'd pass that along for those who have these models that were manufactured before May 2009, so that they can check and see if the upgrade was installed. Bacil

Congrats on receiving the new glider! Hope to fly with you soon. Thanks for the heads up about the Falcon 3. I'll have to check and see if mine has the upgrade or not.

Bacil, I predict you're going to love your new Sport 2 155. It's my favorite WW glider of all time and I have never regretted selling my T2 and choosing the Sport 2 as my primary wing!

Bacil
You get the 155 or 135? I've flown both a number of times and for an about 175 lb hook-in, the 155 is really sweet. I know you'll enjoy it.

Danny,
I got the 135, because I want not only the advantages a heavy wing loading carries in headwinds and sink versus a lighter wing loading, but for better control in turbulence as well. I plan to hit the training hill a few times after the new harness comes in (early March) to acclimate to the new equipment. Then to the mountains with mellow-type conditions for launching and landing.

Thanks, Bacil! I put the Falcon 3 together from shortpack last week here in Manila - required 3 tries to get it right. Will check the new configuration. Enjoy the Sport 2 - ditto what everyone says about it being a really great compromise of low weight, easy set up, great handling, easy landing, good performance... - Hugh
