I've been able to fly at Torrey Pines each day this week after my conference.
Conditions have been marginally soarable ... but I've been able to fly the entire ridge from the Pier to Bathtub Rock (in segments) ... and have avoided landing below on the beach.
Yesterday conditions were a bit better, so I snapped a bunch of photos. Ironically, after I landed to put the camera away, my next flight took me over a large group of dolphins.
Today is the last day of the conference and I plan to drive to San Bernadino and fly Marshall this afternoon. I'll post some photos when I get back on Saturday.

SPARK! Can't believe how close are paths are to crossing. Flew Marshal
yesterday test flying a handful of gliders. I thermalled with Bo who
mentioned flying with you 2 days ago at Torrey.
There is a slight chance we might fly Marshall this afternoon if not more
then likely tomorrow.

Torrey Pines and Marshall Peak
Yesterday (Friday), conditions were much better at Torrey Pines. I was able to get to 350' over launch and enjoyed about 90 minutes of effortless ridge cruising. I was amazed that there were very few pilots there - I was flying alone most of the time. I finally landed because it was getting chilly.
Afterward, I headed to Marshall for an afternoon flight. In contrast to Torrey, it was pretty hot there ... in the 90's. Just before launch, my vario batteries died out, but I was still able to fly for more than an hour and stayed above launch for about 20 minutes. I was pretty happy with my first PG flight there, especially since I 'nailed' the spot on landing.
I returned today with over 6 hours of air time this week, a bunch of flights and over 50 photos. I just finished posting the pix at:
