Possibly in for Saturday, have afternoon plans with family so I will have to see if the conditions and location would allow getting in an early flight and being back home in time. Gotta work Sunday.

I am going to start a thread for a possible flight tomorrow (Fri) as well...similar situation for me as Saturday but I will see what interest is there.

It may be good early at Pulpit on Saturday. However, I''m leaning towards Daniel's on Sunday-- temps in the lower 50s on Sunday at Daniel's instead of upper 30s on Saturday at the Pulpit. Plus, it's turning SW as the day progresses on Saturday.

Any other thoughts???

Looks kind of marginal tomorrow...I don't think I will be able to make it work for two early days in a row (today worked out perrty nice though). Hope you all make out well if you give it a shot tomorrow.

With the forecasted light winds I'm seeing and a change in direction later in the day, I’m going to back out from flying today to get some things done around the house.

Hope all who do make it out have fun!

Santa is bringing us mild temps and light to moderate SW winds. What a treat on Christmas Day. I'll be at Daniels at about 11:30.

So what happened? Any flying??
I'll always remember Paul's first mountain flight was at the Pulpit on Xmas day, under the direction of our fearless leader Matthew.

Karen, Dan and I each had two flights in PGs-- sleds and extendos-- I got above launch briefly on both flights. On my second flight, my glider was oddly sluggish. After landing, I discovered something odd INSIDE my wing-- a rock about half the size of a brick at the trailing edge about a third of the way in from one tip. I saved it as a X-mas present. It must have rolled into the leading edge when I laid the glider out at the back of the slot at launch. Marc Fink had a similar experience at Woodstock a few years ago.

Still, a nice warm, sunny and clear day.
