Since DanTuck brought the flyable weekend mojo back with him from SoCal, let's be sure not to waste it. Who's in for this weekend? Let's do it again!

Wow, at the moment it's looking like it could be flyable both days, perhaps Pulpit on Sat and High Rock on Sun. Course, the weekend is still a long way out, so who knows what will actually come to pass. But I'm definitely "in", at some point, and provided that work-related cr@p will allow.....

The Tuck mojo may be on an 8-day cycle. It's early - but Sunday's Woodstock/Pulpit forecast is looking possibly better than Saturday, albeit on the windy side. Ward

I'm up for one or both days if it's PGable. I haven't foot launched the HG in a long time.
How long will Dan Tuck be in town?

Hi all,
I just got my P2 license equivalence (I was previously flying in Europe, I'm Yannick I introduced myself here 2 months ago). I'd be in to go this week end, I live in DC anyone willing to car-pool ? Otherwise I'd rent a car.
Many thanks !

Hey Dan. I just signed a 12 month lease last month so I'll be here awhile.
I'm down for whatever this weekend. Sat or Sun, or both.

This thread has my attention. I'm up for flying either day. I'll be checking back as the weekend nears...
Welcome back Dan!

Sat is looking tough because of work cr@p.... If not that day, then hopefully Sun, and if things improve, maybe both days! HR Sat, Pulpit Sun?

I'm thinking High Rock or Pulpit on Saturday-- probably the Rock-- spread some holiday cheer to Emma Jane if a bunch of us showed up to fly.
Plus, High Rock usually isn't as cold as the Pulpit

I'm up for it, but I haven't flown High Rock yet, so I guess I need an observer for the Cliff Launch sign-off, right?
Matthew, are you going?

I'm going to bail on Saturday. Been fighting a bad cold and have decided not to push it. Will try for Sunday.

Conflicting reports for both today and Sunday!
For Saturday, some sources say strong today but good tomorrow; other sources say good today, cloudy/weak tomorrow!
Headed out today anyway. If strong on the way out, will fly sailplanes otherwise HG at HR.

Danny, looks like it is me and you so far considering HG at High Rock.........I am going to hit the road "somewhere" at about 9. If you don't mind give me a call if you decide to bail on High Rock (my cell # seven zero 3 four 0 five seven five 0 5 ) If no more High Rock takers (wire crew) then will probably bail to Woodstock........it actually doesn't look too horrible there. Today doesn't look "ideal" anywhere but I gotta work tomorrow so I am going to take my chances somehwere.

Jon, I was keeping my eye on this post and would have declared intentions to show up and crew but it appears i wouldn't have anybody to launch!

Woods stock looks a little better today than Sunday but there is no consistent forecast.
